I had done business with them several times in the last decade without incident. Two years ago I placed an order and they were only able to deliver half of it due to stock shortage. They periodically called to see if I still wanted the backorder. I finally went online, found a new website which showed new stock so I ordered again receiving a confirmation email the next day I called them to learn that they had finally found a new manufacturer to supply stock and would be able to complete and ship the new order within a few days. hey always boasted of not billing until the order ships. When I saw the billing show up on my card, I called and asked for the tracking # which they promised would come by email. It never came nor did the parcel. The newest excuse was that there is only one girl in customer service (Dominique) and she was told not to spend time on any emails since she was so busy on the phone. They advise 7-10 D for shipping but it really won't take that long. On the ninth day, I sent an email asking about delivery which never got answered. On the tenth day, I called on the phone - it was never answered. I filed a complaint with my credit card to dispute the charge. Within hours, they reversed the charge pending investigation. Today - still no delivery nor communication from FDMbrands - Century Photo.

  • It has been 48 hours since I made this complaint. At noon today, I received a phone call from Dominique who apologized for the problem. She advised that I would find the tracking number in my email and to expect the package in the next few days. I found the tracking # but UPS already showed I should expect delivery YESTERDAY. We will see what happens.

  • my order was finally received on Tuesday, October 24th. While complete, there was an issue with the color of the new binders matching my existing binders. Speaking to Dominique, she offered to look into this and possibly exchange them for a closer match. I then called my bank to cancel my dispute with FDM Brands-Century Photo and let them be paid. My advice is to always use a credit card so one can dispute the charges & not lose money on unfilled orders.
